I have stayed at Rixos Al Mairid before and always enjoyed the experience. While this visit had some challenges due to the ongoing renovations, I would like to recognize some exceptional team members who truly made a difference. A special thank you to Ankit, Chef Lijo, Chef Uraz, Security Mohamed, and Ayman for their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help when our car battery unexpectedly died. They genuinely went above and beyond to assist us and their efforts were greatly appreciated. The staff's dedication and hospitality were the highlight of our stay. Thank you again to the team members who took care of us.

Our 2-night stay at Rixos Marid was extremely disappointing and far below the standards we expected. The room was dirty upon arrival. The beds were smelly and covered with sand, and the sofa bed was old, worn out, and very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, we found insects in the room, including a spider and a worm, which was completely unacceptable. The service throughout the stay was poor, especially around the pool area. There were also too many restrictions that made it difficult to relax and enjoy the facilities. On the second day, we left our room at 8:00 AM and spent the day by the pool. When we returned around 3:00 PM, our room had still not been cleaned. We had to call housekeeping three separate times and make repeated complaints before someone finally came to change the towels and tidy the room. This level of service is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. What made the experience even worse was the pool temperature. The water was so warm that it was uncomfortable to swim in, defeating the purpose of having a pool during hot weather. Overall, the cleanliness, maintenance, service, and facilities were all below expectations. We left very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.
